SOME ASPECTS OF THE GEMINI
FITNESS PROGRAM
Work out plan
As a member of Gemini Fitness, you
will receive a personalized workout plan and up to four
orientation sessions on the equipment to maximize your
ability to use the equipment. Trained staff are always
available to encourage you, evaluate your progress, or
answer any questions.
Our specialty is supporting and
assisting beginners, those people who are out of shape,
people with physical challenges, members who feel
intimidated by the process, and seniors, as well as
those people who traditionally work out, enjoy good
health and fitness.

TRAINING
Circuit Training
Both men’s and women’s
strength training circuits are color coded with
numbered signs that correspond to workout programs that
include focus on full body, chest, arms and back, abs,
buns and thighs, or posture.
Group Training
Groups of up to four people can
participate in strength training classes on the floor
with a personal trainer who customizes programs
specific to individual needs. The cost per session is
lowered by sharing the time among several people.
Group exercise room
Aerobics, step, muscle pump, kick
boxing, and Yoga classes are held in the group exercise
room to music.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF INTEREST
Community Education
There will be a variety of
community education events during the year in
partnership with local health care providers on topics
such as cardiovascular disease, weight loss, back
problems, heart problems, physical challenges, and
other topics of interest to our members.
Weight Loss Programs
There are two weight loss programs
available.
One is a program with weight loss
guidelines that you can follow yourself—a simple
three tier plan of good nutrition, physical activity,
and snacks that lead to safe and permanent weight loss.
The other weight loss program is
led by a counselor who is trained in weight management
and supervises weekly group meetings where information
is shared with others for a modest participation
charge.

supervise teenagers aged 14-15 for them to be on the
fitness floor. Young adults 16 and older may workout
independently.
