Christina Schieffelin

Christina was the first in the family to get into fitness. With an interest in her own fitness, she has worked out with personal trainers since the 70’s. In the mid-eighties, she became an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Gold Certified Trainer. She has since retired, but she was a very effective and popular personal trainer and gladly shares information with members.

Lindsay Schieffelin Sr.

Also interested in fitness, Lindsay Sr. played tennis, golf, and ran three miles a day for many years until back problems interfered with his activities. Until that time, he had competed in local cross-country races and 10ks. After 30 years as a corporate marketing executive, he made a career change to follow his passion for fitness and helping people become fit and healthy. Launching the Club was the perfect solution.

He has earned certifications from ACE as a Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, and Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant. He is also a certified Personal Trainer with AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America). While he is General Manager of Gemini Fitness & Aquatics Club, he most enjoys his time assisting members and guests.

Schuyler & Lindsay are 31-year-old identical twins.

Schuyler started his career after college in a Physical Therapy Assistant program. After completing most of the required study, he preferred personal training. He has earned his certification from ACE as a Personal Trainer and a Group Exercise Instructor. He loves working with all people, but especially enjoys working with people with physical challenges or limitations.

Lindsay Jr. knew he wanted to be a personal trainer right from the start. Having worked with personal trainers since his youth, he earned certifications as a Personal Trainer from both ACE and AFAA before completing his training as a Flexibility Physiologist with the ability to properly stretch anyone’s muscles from office workers to athletes.

The Schieffelin family is devoted to fitness and the fitness needs of theirs customers. The Gemini Fitness and Aquatics Club is a family owned and operated business with a goal of making everyone feel respected as a guest and “at home” every time they attend.
